Third Gathering

From now on, the society will be announcing a theme for every week for all of you to contemplate on a particular subject which is a part of daily life in a Buddhist prospective.

For this coming gathering, we will be contemplating on a very common subject,
"KALYANA MITRA"

In Buddhism, the term "Kalyana Mitra" is used to describe noble spiritual FRIENDS. In simple terms, Kalyana Mitra are companions who are at our side all the time, guiding and helping us at times when we need them, they care for you and give you full support in every action you make. In life, we should not only hope to make spiritual friends, but also cultivate the values to be a Kalyana Mitra to others as well.

For this gathering, we will be sharing a video clip with you to show the importance of a Kalyana Mitra and let everyone share valuable experiences with each other. Take this opportunity to learn more about other members and make Kalyana Mitra in that process...
So please join us for this valuable experience:

Venue: SR5
Time: 1.15pm to 2.15pm
Date: 14 August 2009

As usual, please have your lunch before the event and please be punctual.
