Ethical issues in Medicine and Healthcare

1. What is the Buddhist point of view in Euthanasia?
2. Confidentiality - cases involving the diagnosis of a sexually transmitted disease in a patient who refuses to reveal the diagnosis to a spouse. Termination of pregnancy in under aged without parent’s consent.
3. Animal experimentation – is it againsts the First precept? Experiments for the greater good?
4. Should Buddhist who are vegetarians take medication or supplements (such as fish oil, cod liver oil, etc) that are extracted from animals?
